Mag. Dr. Marion R. Gruber
I have a PhD in media education and diploma in art history and educational sciences from the University of Innsbruck. I am working as Assistant Professor at CELSTEC (Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies), Open Universiteit Netherlands (NL), as E-Learning-Coordinator at the Faculty of Arts, University of Zürich (CH), and as Lecturer at the University of Innsbruck (AT).
My main research interests are:
* application of digital technologies in museums, galleries and archives, as well as in formal, non-formal and informal education;
* arts and cultural heritage education;
* learning design (IMS-LD);
* instructional design;
* learning outcomes;
* open educational resources;
* competence development;
* web usability;
* web2.0 and social software;
* mobile technologies.
Within these topics, I focus on e-learning in arts and cultural heritage education in museums, galleries and archives. I initiated and lead the research initiative "KUKUK – Kunst, Kultur, Kommunikation".
Furthermore, I worked as an archivist, educational consultant, and arts mediator in several cultural institutions.
