About
I studied Linguistics, Ancient Greek, Latin and History of the Italian Language at both the University of Palermo and the University of Pavia from 2003-2008. I was then granted my M.A. from the University of Pavia in 2008 with a thesis 'Topicality, transitivity and differential object marking: a study on a corpus of Old Sicilian texts'.
From November 2008-October 2011, I worked at the Department of Linguistics of the same University as a Ph.D. Student. I have been Visiting Student at the University of Lancaster (UK) and the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque (USA). My dissertation was a typological study of differential object marking and differential object indexation.
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Zurich.
